Microsoft’s chief executive Steve Ballmer said that they have a great respect for Yahoo and along with MSN, they could offer an increasingly exciting mix in the search engine world.

I think that we are on the way up?

The stock market has made a significant recovery this week after earnings reports came out on many blue-chip companies such as Microsoft, Caterpillar and Honeywell international. The Dow traded up as high as 19.35 points which was a breath of fresh air after last week. The Fed cut interest rates by 3/4 of a point on Monday which also gave confidence to many investors. Have we hit rock bottom to this recession threat? This writer believes that new stimulus plans will be put in place by the Fed, and the mortgage disaster that has been going on for the last eight months will finally come to a stable point by the end of 2008 and the investment opportunities in the blue-chip market will increase.

Is buying short-term stock in blue-chip companies a waste of your time and money?

With a market such as this, with major corporations and stocks going up and down with the direction of which way the wind is blowing can raise some major opportunities for the short-term investor. For instance, E*TRADE financial (ETFC) has taken a hard hit, especially in the last 30 days in their stock went down as low as $2.49 a share which was a major shock and market news. The stock is now trading as high as $3.91 per share today which has made some short-term investors some nice money with this little 10-day swing. There are many other stocks such as E*TRADE that is follow the same trail so get that research nose going because I feel that these opportunities will be excellent in the next 30 days respectively. END

It has been simply amazing to watch as the market just surfaced many different cell phones and providers such as Verizon, Tmobile, Cingular, and Alltel ringtones to name a few.

Will this craze end anytime soon? I spoke to a forum admin at DevHunters.com and he said that the amount of people that he sees chatting in web forums in the last few months are unreal and the popularity seems to be growing at an unbelievable rate.

I have researched this market a bit and the ease of online accessibility is that to where you can just go to your PC and download whatever you would like including re-charge minutes for pre-paid cell phones.

I think this market is worth looking in to and you will see more on this in weeks to come! END
